Laudanum's upgrading our website for the holidays!

Zenko and I are working at upgrading this entire community to Drupal.  This means good things for Laudanum.  We can have more news contributors.  Everything will be interlinked.   The site will be less confusing.  The complainers will have to come up with new excuses!

So, Happy Holidays from us.  By the time the new year rolls around a new Laudanum should be available for everyone to enjoy online!

I've been playing The Chronicles of Spellborn for the past couple weeks.   I wrote an original review of the product here, and posted the review to multiple MMO gaming sites.   As Ive progressed through the levels I've noticed something, and its something that seems intentional by the designers of the game.

I'm allowed to log out!

That's right folks.  I can log out of the game and not miss out on some crucial amount of experience gained by being online and botting or scripting 24 hours a day!

The development team in their foresight planned the game out to advance quicker by doing quests than by grinding out mobs. And the difference in XP gain is significant.



This seriously makes me want to run for my life from other games. The last game I played where grinding was the exception and not the norm was Ultima Online.   Im serious. 

If youre tired of mashing keys until your fingers bleed, or leaving a bot program on 24 hours a day just so you can keep up, try this game out.  It really is a brilliant piece of software.
